Merit Badge Matrix

Below you can find the Merit Badge Matrix. From researching your hobby to tracking what you eat, you are expected to complete at least 15 merit badges during your time in the Academy to be eligible for the Certificate of Mastery.

What to do:

Look at the matrix above. Click on a title that interests you.
Read the instructions for the badge carefully! Talk to an Academy teacher if you have questions BEFORE you start the badge.
Print out a copy of the merit badge you will complete.
Once you have completed the badge, present your results to an Academy teacher. Bring the original instruction sheet you printed with you (this is what the Academy teacher will sign as proof of badge completion).
Turn in your signed badge instruction sheet to Mr. Ashby.
Within 2 weeks after turning in your completed merit badge, Mr. Ashby will give you a certificate of badge completion. Hold onto this! The certificate will be useful for future projects, job interviews, your senior portfolio (and it will make your parents proud).
