Some of us would like to look better, move faster or change the way our body works. A healthy eating and exercise plan can get you where you want to be. With some research, planning and reflection you can make the HEALTHY change and reap the benefits.

 

 

Complete these 6 activities that outline your fitness plan

 

1. Briefly state what your goals are for your body. Describe your Current Height, weight and BMI. (look online to determine your BMI)

 

2. Log on to ivillage.com’s HEALTH CALULATOR.

 

Get your profile results for your:

Ideal BMI

Healthy weight

Daily Caloric Requirement

Daily Carbohydrate Requirement

Daily Protein Requirement

Daily Fat Requirement

 

Evaluate your results, and write a brief statement about how you will use these results to design your new food and exercise plan.

 

 

3. Design a two day menu for yourself based on your fitness goals. Prove how it is healthy, realistic and meets your needs according the the USDA Food Guide Pyramid.

 

 

4. Design a 6 week workout plan for yourself.  Show all three types of exercise.

 

 

5. Provide one or more references (from the internet, books or magazines) that prove how this plan is healthy, realistic and will meet your fitness goals.

 

 

6. Keep weekly journal of your progress. Provide a journal entry from week 1 of your workout plan and week 5 of your workout plan. Make sure it shows your progress, goals and feelings.
