SALINAS, CALIFORNIA - We are a school-to-work program that helps train students for a career in the health field while also promoting the skills needed to succeed in college. Health careers include social work, psychologists, nurses, doctors, medical assistants, nutritionists, dentists, dental hygienists and veterinarians, to name a few. Through the collaboration of Alisal High School, the Salinas Union High School District, and the local health care industry, we offer students a program with high academic standards, job shadowing events, field trips, a school-within-a-school atmosphere, tutoring, and post-secondary educational opportunities.
